We are looking for an SLPA to support an elementary caseload in a wonderful school district in Washington State. The ideal candidate will have previous school-setting experience, a Washington State license (or willingness and qualifications to obtain one), and a flexible mindset.
SLPA Responsibilities:
Create daily activities and lessons by implementing each student’s individualized education program.
Collaborate with occupational therapists, school psychologists, and other education staff.
Use multi-modal communication and communication devices such as AAC, ASL (American Sign Language), S2C (Spell to Communicate), PECS (Picture Exchange Communication Systems), etc.
Design new AAC materials for students who are beginning to use them or need more expressive options.
Provide direct therapy to students and organize documents to discuss procedures, processes, and progress with SLPs.
Collaborate with teams of teachers, parents, and faculty to ensure the highest quality services are designed for each student.
Track students’ achievements and progress with SOAP notes and enter into secure software to ensure data integrity and student privacy.
Maintain all records and organize written documentation for student services.
Maintain education on safety protocols and preparations including evacuation management in case of emergency.
Deescalate unexpected behaviors from individuals with special/diverse needs.
SLPA Requirements:
Strong knowledge of how to provide verbal and visual models and cues for communication disorders.
Familiarity with linguistic terminology is essential for effective communication within the team.
Experience working with students, particularly in an educational or therapeutic setting, is preferred.
Background in speech therapy or experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Therapy Outline is hiring a part-time and full-time in-person SLP, with the potential to renew for next school year.
Our SLPs provide direct therapy services, conduct evaluations, and attend all IEP and Evaluation meetings in person and on Zoom. We have extensive experience working in the school setting and adopt an academic-focused, child-led mindset when planning services and working with families and teachers.
SLP Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication challenges in students from early intervention to early adulthood.
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs, focusing on speech therapy and language development.
Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve articulation, fluency, and receptive and expressive language skills for the academic setting.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support and progress tracking.
Digitally monitor progress daily, maintaining detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and patient records in compliance with healthcare standards.
Educate families on home exercises and communication strategies to reinforce therapy goals outside of the clinical setting.
SLP Requirements:
Master's degree completed or in progress.
Washington ESA or Conditional ESA.
Experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical settings.
Familiarity with physiology and anatomy for speech production.
Clean record and background check.

You are familiar with the MTSS and RTI processes and are ready to discuss implementation strategies and resources for classroom teachers.
You are team-oriented and can explain communication challenges to teachers in a way that creates opportunities to reduce barriers for diverse communication styles and needs in the classroom setting.

Therapy Outline is hiring a part-time or full-time in-person Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This high-paying position is open to a candidate who delivers quality services to students with diverse communication styles and needs.
BCBA Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor personalized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles.
Conduct thorough behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and strengths.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support strategies.
Collect and analyze data meticulously to track client progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff on behavioral therapy techniques.
Empower clients to achieve meaningful progress and improve their quality of life through evidence-based practices rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA).

BCBA Requirements:
BCBA certification issued by the BACB.
Experience as a BCBA in the school setting.
Master's degree in Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

You are team-oriented and can explain communication challenges to teachers and admin in a way that creates opportunities to reduce barriers for diverse communication styles and needs.
Expertise in behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
Ability to perform patient assessments and conduct diagnostic evaluations with a culturally responsive lens.
Strong skills in professional speaking and data collection, analysis, and documentation for clinical decision-making.
Knowledge of special education practices in the school setting.
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards.

At this time, we do not provide health benefits, but we are open to discussing health related reimbursements with therapists who invest in preventative care (e.g. fitness memberships, yoga, supplements, mental health care, etc.) as well as reimbursements up to a certain amount per month for those who have their own health insurance.

We currently partner with schools in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area as well as more rural locations that have high therapy needs.
